We’ve officially declared this our 5th Birthday Week, and before we break out the cake and ice cream, it’s worth looking back on where we started.
Let’s start this informal little timeline all the way back to when we were just an idea and an unproven one at that. We were working for Simplicity Credit Union, our parent company and the one that put the CU in CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization) for us, and we loved what we were doing.
We were a small but mighty team of people who didn’t settle for “good enough”, and it was easy to see that our peers didn’t always have the same advantages we enjoyed.
Like what? Well, like People.
Credit Unions, non-profits, and small businesses had gotten so used to accomplishing more with a smaller staff that some of them were stuck in a place where they couldn’t grow. And not growing means not adding to the team, which means, of course, that you can’t serve more people, which means you can’t grow.
You get it. It’s not awesome.
So, we decided that should use the skill and expertise on our team (not to brag) to make sure other teams like ours could thrive. (Then it was a lot of meetings and sleepless nights and spreadsheets and more meetings, so we’ll skip ahead.)
Finally, on April 27th, 2018, the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions approved our Articles of Incorporation, and we were off to the races.
We started with the idea that we’d offer four different lines of service: Marketing, IT, HR, and Operations. If you’re an O.G. follower, you might have noticed that slowly over the last 5 years, we’ve refined those services, and today, we’re fully focused on Marketing.
The good news for us is that we still get to work really closely with the amazing people that were a part of this all when we started out, just in the Credit Union space where we came from.
Where do we go from here? Wherever people need us.
If we’ve learned anything over the last 5 years, it’s that the world is full of awesome, passionate people who are great at what they do but don’t have the time or resources to get the word out. Those are our kind of people, and we’re here to help.
If you or someone you know would like to talk about the Marketing services we offer, jump over to our handy form right here and drop us a line.
