Award Winning Design

We kicked off the second quarter of 2025 with a “W” on the board courtesy of our peers at America’s Credit Union’s  Marketing, PR & Development Councils!

In fact, the designs created by our talented creative team for Simplicity Credit Union’s RISE Account campaign scored prizes in the Logo and Complete Campaign category.

You can see Simplicity’s press release here, and have a look below for some of the campaign designs.

Breaking the Cycle, One Donation at a Time

Periods are a part of life for roughly 51% of us. Either we’re going to have one, we’re currently having one, or we’re managing other conditions, often chronic or life-threatening, that stem from not having one. It is that way for many of us for decades of our lives. On average, a menstruating person will have 450 periods, that’s 3500 days, between 9 and 10 years, and more than 10,000 individual period products in a lifetime.

It’s a huge expense, and that cost isn’t just paid by the people who have them, but by their workplaces, their communities, and their loved ones. 1 in 4 menstruators below the poverty line report they have missed school or work because of the lack of period products.

With all of this in mind, Exclamation and Simplicity CU came together to host “Break the Cycle: End Period Poverty” on May 28th (Menstrual Hygiene Day).

We curated period-friendly music, games, prizes, and snacks (IYKYK) and invited folks in our area to bring a donation and join us for the fun. When the evening ended, we had almost 3000 individual period products. That’s enough for 135 periods or to supply 12 menstruators for a year!

Check out our video and save the date for May 28th, 2026 for our second annual Break the Cycle event!
